Bespoke furniture manufacturing

Scotsmen Woodwork and Joinery crafts bespoke furniture, blending expert craftsmanship with personalized design. We collaborate with you from material selection to final finishes, ensuring each piece reflects your style and needs. Our high-quality, durable furniture is designed to enhance your space and stand the test of time.

Machining

We offer a variety of Machining services such as:

 

Table Saw cutting, Thickness Planing, Edge Jointing, Band Saw cutting and Routing.

CNC Cutting

We provide custom CNC cutting for projects that require intricate detailing.

Delivery

Delivery is available at a fee for small orders.

 

Orders that require larger transport, or are outside of KZN will be priced based on a third-party quote from a Courier/transport company.

 

Rates

Please note: All fees listed are excluding VAT.

Machining:

  • The Minimum fee for Machining is R250.
  • A rate of R8.50 is charged per meter of machining, not per meter of wood.
  • Complex cutting such as 45-degree angle, round cutting, or glass rebates are charged at a minimum fee of R280, thereafter at R9.00 per meter.

CNC cutting:

  • A minimum fee of R300 per hour is charged.
  • R150 per hour is charged for design services. This is the minimum fee.
  • If a design is provided by the client, the same minimum fee of R150 will apply due to differences in software compatibility and changes that will need to be made to run the CNC software.
