Why Choose to Custom Build Your Cabinet, TV Unit, or Console Table?
When it comes to storage furniture, one size rarely fits all. Off-the-shelf cabinets may fall short in terms of space, materials, or the specific layout of your home. Choosing a custom piece gives you control over every detail — from dimensions and timber selection to interior shelving and external finishes. Whether you’re looking to conceal electronics in a sleek TV unit, add smart hallway storage with a console table, or create a custom wardrobe that maximizes every inch of space, a bespoke approach means the furniture is made for you and your lifestyle.
Beyond function, custom cabinetry and consoles offer aesthetic value that mass-produced items simply can’t match. Working with solid hardwood means your furniture will age gracefully, gaining richness and character over time. Thoughtful design ensures that your piece not only looks stunning but also integrates beautifully into your home’s style, whether you’re after a clean contemporary feel or something more rustic and natural.

Pick Your Hardwood
Rhodesian Teak
Teak is one of the world’s most well known and coveted woods. It’s heartwood is light-medium brown, with a tint that can range from muted gold to pale red. (It’s colour darkens as it ages
Oak
The trees commonly live for hundreds of years, if left undisturbed. The colour of heartwood can vary from light golden tan, to a light – medium brown.
Kiaat
Kiaat is closely related to African Padauk (both are species of the Pterocarpus genus), sharing its characteristics of being durable, extremely stable and easy workability.
Ash European
In appearance, it is nearly identical to American Ash, but it is often found in wider boards and whiter/clearer appearance. European Ash is ideal for counter tops, cabinets and interior design
American Ash
This wood is generally straight grained with course uniform texture. Combined with its easy working properties, generally light overall colour and good finishing characteristics, American Ash makes a popular wood for a variety of practical and utility applications.
Iroko
Iroko is a tough, long-lasting wood with a golden to medium brown colouration, coarse texture, and interlocked grains that resemble teak but are significantly less dense. Despite its toughness, it is relatively easy to work with and glues/finishes well.
Black Ofram
Ofram has a distinctive light base colour that varies from pale yellow to light golden brown to pale tan – and is sometimes muted to the point of appearing greyish. It frequently has dark brown or black overlapping highlights.
American Walnut
American Walnut is prized for its typically deep chocolate colouring (often highlighted by red or purple streaks/tint), straight grains (though sometimes irregular), fine texture and warm natural shine.
